K-pop Girls Dress Up Challenge is a dress-up game with makeover and career simulation elements. The player must provide K-pop stars with amazing new looks for different events and fashion competitions against other online players.
The player starts by selecting the plus (+) symbol at the center of the main screen. They then select three girls and start a competition. They're directed to a dress-up area where they must give the idols looks that match the venue. They use the first row of icons under the scene to select a fashion or makeup category. With each one, they receive unlocked, ad-supported, and locked options. Initially, they can only use the first two types.
When the player completes a look, they use buttons in the lower-right area to swap the idol with one of the others. After they're entirely done, they use an upper-right camera button to take a snapshot of the girls. The player wins the competition and coins based on the feedback of social media users.
K-pop Girls Dress Up Challenge includes a wide selection of products. It also places the characters in famous and popular types of real-world settings, including Disney World, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a concert stage, a talk show studio, a yacht, street scenes, a lounge and an airport.
The player uses the store button in the lower-left area of the main screen to buy items and view ad videos to acquire extra coins. They use the daily tasks button marked with a checklist to earn bonuses. The center Awards button displays the photos of the K-pop idols.
